My Bio

Bombastic Opinionated Grammar Nerd, Novelist, Non-Degreed Scientist, Amateur Naturalist, Student of Socio-Anthropology, Frequent Biology Student, Unpaid Photographer, Hedonist, Admirer of Beauty, and Gentle Lad of many years.

As a young Lad I was the one always getting into trouble for taking things apart, investigating things well beyond my pay grade and age, was constantly being lambasted because of my youthful exuberance, and generally had my backside frequently tanned because of my rather blatant disregard for others' rules and mental or social limitations.

My curiosity got me into buckets of trouble for asking questions others couldn't answer, such as why the sky was blue during the day and black at night, what caused wind to blow leaves across the yard and yet not knock all the trees down, what created explosions ... to the detriment of many small empty soup cans filled with various petroleum-based liquid products, and frustrated many of my elders and teachers because my intelligence wasn't confined to notions of traditional learning from a book instead of trying things on my own.

My parents were equally embarrassed and furious with me for my continuous investigatory skills involving living beings of the opposite sex ... frequently with various portions of their clothing having been removed. That alone stirred my rather conservative and pious father to exercise plenty of adult-initiated physical reminders that sex was a subject meant only for "other" males of more mature intelligence and increased age.

Exploring my limited world also meant I brought living creatures into the sacred confines of my cloistered and restrained parents' immediate area, which typically resulted in screams, wails, tears, and subsequent expulsion from the house ... and yet another visit to the backside of my own bed visited by a rather angry belt applied to my already-sensitive bum.

In spite of all my youthful crimes and unabashed curiosity, I survived long enough to venture into the world on my own, and cause yet more trouble for myself because my frequent investigations hadn't been honed well enough to avoid the ire of many other humans.

Now that I've learned a few things ... albeit rather slowly because other peoples' answers weren't quite detailed enough for me ... I've advanced enough to know when to curtail certain investigations to well-protected areas, not ask the less-informed regarding subjects only an expert could properly answer, and have improved my exploration skills to include the vast knowledge-base of the world through the internet ... including the darker corners and hidden regions.

My love of music has never waned from my father's frequent explorations with now-ancient technology. My tastes include Adagio by Albinoni, Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Armin Van-Buuren, Isao Tomita, Yanni, Enya, Izrael Kamakawiwo'ole, Alan Parsons and The Alan Parsons Project, Art Garfunkel, Bruce Kaphan, Liquid Mind and Chuck Wild, and music styles ranging from classic orchestra, Techno, House, Trance, Classic Rock, Electronica including DubStep, Smooth Jazz, and Easy Listening. My all-time favorite music is instrumental, sans all the yelling, boring lyrics, and empty repeated-phrases of certain styles popular with tweens and trouble-making young girls. A particular favorite while working out is watching Shuffle Girls prancing around to a fast beat while wearing typically revealing garb of the most lovely kind. Yeah ... I'm an old Perv.

Writing has been a recent adventure for me, with amateur adult-oriented love stories published on a free-story site a few years ago being my way to improve my skills. The results of about a decade of development and education resulted in two published novels of considerable length ... the shortest being 240+ pages, and my first adventure in literary love over 440+ pages of 8.5" x 11" page size. Yeah ... I can't tell a short story, but my belletristic adventures have garnered me plenty of fans, lots of appreciation, and thousands of emails of thanks for making my works seem so real, the characters still exist in many of my followers' minds even today. My attention to detail has raised more than a few eyebrows, and even stirred an investigation of the legal kind because of the perceived authenticity and assumed acts of impropriety by my fictional adventures. Needless to say my writing ability was honed well enough to instill plenty of fury and hate-mail from rather conservative types because they falsely believed my fiction was someone's reality.

One of my Journal Entries describes my being a blood donor since I was a high school senior, and my blood being so clean my red stuff, after being tested for pathogens or biological abnormalities, is immediately sent to the local children's hospital ... to be made available to neonates, infants, and babies in medical distress, and who can't survive without a gift of the precious stuff of life. I don't know how many children's or even adults' lives I've saved, but given the records of the local blood bank ... perhaps six infants a year for the last twenty five are now alive because of my generosity. Yes ... I recently donated another pint, and will continue until I'm unable to do so, or I find out my blood is no longer clean enough for an infant to receive.

How can I end this lengthy introduction into my private and personal life ... of which very few people have been allowed to enter and share?

I'm a gentle Lad, a tender soul, and a lover of life. I wish to cause nobody else harm, and hope the world, and those in it I interface with, share the same belief.

Many thanks for the watch, much appreciated! 👍

thank you for the watch!

Taking things apart is how I ended doing engineering mate, now I have a car garage so I can continue taking things apart and rebuilding them. Thanks mate.

Good on ya, Lad. I also learned quite a bit disassembling random pieces of machinery, and getting into plenty of trouble while doing so.

Love to strip down parts to assemble them to see the workings mate.

Thank you so much for adding me to your watch!
