Okay ... so the meds and a six inch long hypodermic needle into my spine seem to be having a positive effect, or so I hope.

With some judicious consideration for an alteration in my physical activities, and the potential for a VERY serious [upcoming] surgery, I'll be participating in a few more daily ventures from my prior horizontal confinement until such time as the exquisitely agonizing discomfort returns and sends me to the floor crying like a six year old ...
                 ... little girl.

Trust me on this, folks ... take care of your bodies, 'cuz maturity ain't as golden as many scholars and poets make it sound, and it's not what I'd planned on when I was twenty.

Will be taking a peek at some missed contributions given the time, and the ability to sit up half an hour longer each day. 

I asked my orthopaedic surgeon if I'd be able to play the violin, and she said yes.  I was extremely pleased, because I've never been able to before and haven't a clue which end I'm supposed to use with my feet.
